Travel through the stunning Dochula Pass, offering beautiful Himalayan views and the famous 108 chortens, before reaching the green Punakha Valley. Here, explore the majestic Punakha Dzong, walk across one of Bhutan’s longest suspension bridges, and visit the sacred Chimi Lhakhang. Next, journey into the peaceful Phobjikha Valley, known for its open meadows and natural beauty. Visit Gangtey Monastery, a place of calm where time seems to slow down and your journey ends in Paro, home to Bhutan’s most famous landmark. The hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang) is the highlight of the trip, offering breathtaking cliffside views and a deeply spiritual experience. Day 01
Arrival in Bagdogra | Transfer to Phuentsholing
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and meet the our crew to assist you with your transfer to Bhutan.
Drive to Jaigaon, the last Indian border town, and prepare to enter Bhutan.
Cross the border and arrive in Phuentsholing, where you will complete the permit formalities.
Transfer to your hotel in Phuentsholing and check in.
Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.
Day 02
Phuentsholing to Thimpu-Bhutan’s vibrant capital
After breakfast, begin your drive to Thimphu, the vibrant capital of Bhutan.
Enjoy the scenic journey through picturesque countryside, passing broadleaf forests, waterfalls, quaint villages, and small towns.
Stop at Chuzom Bridge to admire the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers.
Continue your drive and arrive in Thimphu by evening.
Visit Simply Bhutan, a museum showcasing Bhutanese culture and heritage.
Check in to your hotel in Thimphu. If time permits, explore Thimphu city, known as the only city in the world without traffic lights, or visit local markets.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 03
Mountain passes & Ancient forts | Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, depart from your hotel and set off on the scenic drive to Punakha.
Stop at Buddha Dordenma in Thimphu to admire the giant statue overlooking the city.
Continue the journey via Dochula Pass and enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Take a break at a café at the pass for tea/coffee and visit the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens, built in memory of Bhutanese soldiers.
Arrive in Punakha and check in to your hotel by afternoon.
Explore Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Phochhu and Mochhu rivers.
Walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge and enjoy stunning valley views and later return to the hotel for overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 04
Slow down in nature | Punakha to Phobjikha Valley
Have breakfast at the hotel in Punakha and set off on the scenic drive to Phobjikha Valley.
Begin sightseeing with a visit to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility.
Take a short hike to reach the temple, dedicated to Lam Drukpa Kuenley, the “Divine Madman.” where you learn about the temple’s unique tradition, where childless couples seek blessings for fertility, and phalluses are considered symbols of protection and fertility.
Continue the journey to the scenic Phobjikha Valley.
Check in to your hotel upon arrival and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05
Back to town life | Phobjikha to Paro
Wake up to a pleasant morning in Phobjikha Valley and enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Check out and start your journey to Paro.
Arrive in Paro by evening and check in to your hotel.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the surroundings on your own.

Day 06
The highlight of the trip | Tiger’s Nest Hike
Start the day early after breakfast and prepare for an unforgettable experience.
Drive to the trailhead and begin the hike to the world-famous Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), walk through pine forests, prayer flags, and scenic mountain trails along the way.
Reach the monastery, dramatically perched high on a cliff, and enjoy a truly unforgettable and spiritual moment. Spend some quiet time exploring the monastery and soaking in the peaceful surroundings.
Hike back down and return to Paro with a sense of calm and achievement.

Day 07
Farewell Bhutan | Paro to Siliguri
Enjoy your last breakfast in Bhutan.
Begin the return drive to Siliguri via Phuentsholing.
Check in to your hotel and relax after the journey.

Day 08
Journey Ends & Memories Stay
After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
Proceed to Bagdogra Airport on your own, as per your flight schedule.
Depart with a bag full of wonderful memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Expenses due to natural events (landslides, roadblocks, weather delays): to be borne directly by the customer on the spot.
Additional costs due to policy changes between India & Bhutan.
Expenses arising from changes or delays in flight timings. We will try to support you during such situations, but we cannot be held responsible for circumstances outside our control.
